Cause it is a big investment of not only money, but effort and time to do a shoot.
I always joke that having a photoshoot for a lot of people is kinda like going to the dentist.
If you are in business it is something you know you gotta do, but for many it can be super scary and really intimidating.
After all, you are asking someone to stand in front of you and be super vulnerable.
If you are a professional photographer, and haven't had a shoot yourself in a while I suggest you do, so that you can be reminded of what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens.
A photoshoot experience with me is usually fun and light and really uplifting for me and my clients, but underneath it all it really is quite an intimate and endearing experience.
My shoots are usually followed by lots of hugs and thank you's and I know that the experience lives on in my clients memories for years.
Even the business ones!
So I think it is really important to reflect on the moments, that make the experience so impactful.
To make sure they are never skipped or overlooked.
